In short
Send the quote to your client by email directly from Constrigo. No setup is needed: your client's replies arrive at your company's email address.
In brief
Open the quote and click "Send": enter the recipient, the subject and a message, then confirm. With no setup on your part, the email is sent from Constrigo's sending address, in your company's name, and the client replies to your company's email. Once sent, a draft quote changes to the "Sent" status.
Optional: send from your own address
With no configuration, your quotes are sent from the address notifications@constrigo.fr, in your company's name, and the client's replies arrive at your company's email. For the email to be sent directly from your own address, connect the sending server (SMTP) of your email service.
- Open Settings, then "Email configuration".
- Choose your "Email provider" or enter the "SMTP server", the "Port", the "SMTP username" and the "SMTP password".
- Enter the "Sender email" and, if you wish, the "Display name".
- Click "Save", then "Test connection": the status should read "SMTP configured and verified".
This setting is optional. Configuring your own sending server is included from the Enterprise plan and is reserved for the company owner.

On the web
- Open the quote, then click "Send".
- Check the "Recipient *" (the client's address) and the "Subject".
- If needed, add a "Custom message (optional)".
- Click "Send". The client receives an email with the quote number and amount.

On the mobile app
- When creating a quote, "Create and send" saves the quote and sends it to the client right away, if their record contains an email address.
- For an existing quote, open it and use the "Email" action. The "Email sent" message confirms it was sent.
Going further
- Getting the client's approval: see "Have your client sign a quote online".
- Tracking the validity period: see "Quote validity and expiration".
Frequently asked questions
My client did not receive the quote, what should I do?
Check the email address on the client's record and ask them to look in their spam folder. If sending fails, try again a few minutes later, then contact support if the problem continues.
Does the quote status change after sending?
Yes, a draft quote changes to the "Sent" status. A quote that has already been sent keeps its status.
Can my client reply to me directly?
Yes. With no setup, their reply arrives at your company's email. With your own sending server, it arrives at the sender address configured in your settings.
Can I send the quote to an address other than the client's?
Yes, on the web you can edit the "Recipient *" field before sending.
