In short
Group your lines by lot, offer options outside the total and apply a global discount to the quote.
In brief
In a quote on the web app, "Add a lot" groups lines by trade, with a subtotal per lot on the PDF. A line's "Option" button offers it to the client without including it in the total. The "Global discount (%)" field applies a discount to the whole quote. These settings are made in edit mode.
Create lots
- Open the quote and click "Edit" (or start from a new quote).
- In "Quote lines", click "Add a lot".
- Enter the "Lot name" (for example Plumbing), then click "Create and add a line".
- To move an existing line, use the line's "Move to a lot" action. Choose "No lot" to take it out of a lot.
On the PDF, lines are grouped by lot, and each lot ends with its subtotal.

Offer a line as an option
- In edit mode, open the line you want to offer as an option.
- Turn on the line's "Option" button, then confirm.
- The line now carries the "Option" badge and no longer counts toward the quote totals.
- On the PDF, options appear separately, in an "Options offered" box, outside the totals.
- When the quote is converted into an invoice, optional lines are never invoiced.
If the client chooses an option, turn off the line's "Option" button before converting the quote: it will then be counted and invoiced.

Apply a global discount
- In edit mode, find the quote totals block.
- Enter a percentage between 0 and 100 in "Global discount (%)".
- The total excluding VAT and the VAT are recalculated after the discount. Save the quote.
When converting to an invoice, the discount is spread across the unit price excluding VAT of each line, so that the total of the lines matches the discounted total exactly.
