Create a quote in a few minutes: choose the client, add your lines, then save. Constrigo numbers it automatically.
In brief
To create a quote, open Quotes, then "New quote" and "Standard quote" on the web, or "New quote" on mobile. Choose the client, add your lines (description, quantity, unit, price excl. VAT, VAT) and save. Constrigo assigns a number like DEV-2026-000001. The Discovery plan is limited to 5 quotes per month.
On the web
- Open the Quotes page, then click "New quote" and choose "Standard quote".
- In "Quote details", fill in the "Subject / Title" (for example "Bathroom renovation Mr. Dupont").
- Choose the client in "Client *". If they don't exist yet, click "New client": you create them without leaving the quote.
- If needed, link a "Job site".
- In "Quote lines", click "Add" and enter the description, quantity, unit, unit price excl. VAT and VAT rate.
- Click "Create quote". The quote is saved with draft status.
The "New quote" menu also offers "Quick estimate", to give a price range before writing the detailed quote.
On the mobile app
- Tap the central quick-create button, then "Quote". From a client's page, you can also start a new quote for that client.
- Select the client and, if needed, the job site.
- Add your lines. The total excl. VAT and the total incl. VAT update as you go.
- Check the "Validity" date, shown on the PDF given to the client.
- Tap "Create and send" if the client has an email address, or "Create quote". The "Save as draft" option is in the menu at the top right.
An employee authorized to create quotes sees the "Create for approval" button: the quote is saved as a draft and the business owner approves it before sending.
Numbering and plan limits
- Each quote receives a number that is unique within your company, in the format DEV-year-6-digit number (for example DEV-2026-000001).
- With the Discovery plan, you can create 5 quotes per month. A "Quotes used" counter is displayed on the Quotes page.
- The Artisan, Business and Pro BTP plans have no limit on the number of quotes.
When the Discovery plan's monthly limit is reached, the message "Quote limit reached" is displayed. Upgrade to a higher plan to keep creating quotes this month.

Frequently asked questions
Can I edit a quote after creating it?
Yes, open the quote and click "Edit". If the quote has already been sent, a warning reminds you: remember to send the new version to the client.
Can I start from an existing quote?
Yes, the "Duplicate" button creates a new quote with the same lines, which you then adapt.
How many quotes can I create with the Discovery plan?
5 quotes per month. Paid plans have no limit.
Can an employee create a quote?
Yes, if they have the permission. On mobile, their quote is created for approval and the business owner sends it to the client.
