In short
Your client can sign the quote remotely: from a sharing link valid for 30 days, or through a Yousign electronic signature request.
In brief
Two options are available. "Share with client" creates a link valid for 30 days: the client views the quote, signs with a mouse or finger, then accepts or declines. "Electronic signature" sends the quote through Yousign. In both cases, the quote changes to "Accepted" or "Declined" status depending on the client's response.
Via the client sharing link
- First send the quote to the client: only a quote with "Sent" status can be signed online.
- Open the quote and click "Share with client".
- In the "Client sharing link" window, copy the link ("Copy and close") and send it to your client.
- The client opens the link, reads the quote, draws their signature in "Your signature", then chooses "Confirm" to accept or "Decline".
- The link is valid for 30 days. After that, the client sees "This link has expired.": generate a new one.
- Generating a new link replaces the previous one, which no longer works.
- If the quote includes a reduced VAT rate, the client must tick "I certify that the conditions for the reduced VAT rate are met" in order to accept.
The client sharing link is part of the client portal, included from the Enterprise plan.

Via Yousign electronic signature
- Check that the client's record contains an email address: it is mandatory.
- Open the quote and click "Electronic signature".
- Confirm with "Send for signature". The client receives the signature request from Yousign.
- Track the status on the quote: "Signature pending", then "Electronically signed" or "Signature declined".
A declined or expired request can be sent again with "Resend". Once signed, the signed document can be viewed from the quote ("View signed document").
Yousign electronic signature is included from the Artisan plan and is launched by the company manager.

- The client is right in front of you: see "Have a quote signed on site with your mobile".
- After approval: see "Convert an accepted quote into an invoice" and "Set up a payment schedule on a quote".
Frequently asked questions
How long does the sharing link remain valid?
30 days from its creation. After that, generate a new link from the quote.
Why can't my client sign?
The quote must have "Sent" status. A draft, or a quote that has already received a response, cannot be signed. The client then sees "This quote has already received a response." or an error message.
Can I start two Yousign requests for the same quote?
No, while a request is pending, a new request is rejected. Use "Resend" only after a refusal or an expiry.
Am I notified when the client responds?
The quote status automatically updates to "Accepted" or "Declined" after their response.
