In short
An amendment prices additional or removed work on a quote that has already been accepted. It is numbered from the original quote.
In brief
On a quote with the status "Accepted", click "Create an amendment" then "Create the amendment". Constrigo creates a new quote of the amendment type that carries over the lines of the original quote. You adjust quantities and prices before sending it. It carries the quote number followed by -AV-001, then -AV-002, and so on.
Create the amendment
- On the web, open the accepted quote.
- Click "Create an amendment".
- Read the confirmation: a new quote of the amendment type will be created with the same lines. Click "Create the amendment".
- The message "Amendment created" appears and the amendment opens. Click "Edit" to adjust the lines.
- Send the amendment to the client like a quote.
An amendment can only be created on an accepted quote. On a sent or draft quote, edit the quote directly.

Numbering and tracking
- The number follows that of the original quote: for example DEV-2026-000012-AV-001 for the first amendment, DEV-2026-000012-AV-002 for the second.
- On the original quote, the "Amendments" card lists each amendment with its number, its amount excl. VAT and its status.
- Once the client has accepted the amendment, its status changes to "Accepted" in this card.

Going further
- Send the amendment: see "Send a quote by email from Constrigo".
- Invoice the original quote: see "Convert an accepted quote into an invoice".
