In short
Turn an accepted quote into an invoice without re-entering anything. The conversion can only be done once and deducts any deposits already invoiced.
In brief
When a quote has the "Accepted" status, click "Convert to invoice" then "Convert". Constrigo creates the invoice with the quote's lines, excluding options, and deducts the deposit invoices already issued on that quote. A quote can only be converted once. The action is restricted to the business owner.
Set the quote to "Accepted"
- If the client signed through the sharing link, through Yousign, or on site in the mobile app, the status changes to "Accepted" automatically.
- Otherwise, on the web, change the "Quote status" to "Accepted". On mobile, a sent quote offers the "Accept" action.
On the web
- Open the accepted quote.
- Click "Convert to invoice".
- Confirm with "Convert". A new invoice is created with the same lines as the quote.

On the mobile app
In the quote list, swipe an accepted quote and tap "Invoice", or open it and choose "Convert to invoice". After confirmation, the "Quote converted" message offers to open the invoice.

What the invoice includes
- The quote's lines, except optional lines, which are never invoiced.
- The overall discount, spread across the unit price excl. VAT of each line.
- Deposit invoices issued on this quote ("Issue a deposit" button) are deducted from the final invoice.
A quote can only be converted once. A second attempt displays "This quote has already been converted into an invoice" followed by the invoice number. For additional work, create an amendment.
Going further
- Invoicing in several installments: see "Set up a payment schedule on a quote".
- Additional work after acceptance: see "Create an amendment to an accepted quote".
