In short
Clock in at the job site from the mobile app: by GPS, with the nearest site, or by scanning the site's QR code.
In brief
In the mobile app, open Time clock then "GPS clock-in". Constrigo selects the nearest job site, or you scan the job site's QR code. Tap "Clock in now". In the evening, "End the day" records your departure. Only one clock-in can be active at a time. Time clock is included from the Artisan plan.
Clocking in with GPS
- Open the Time clock tab, then tap the "GPS clock-in" card ("Clock in/out at a job site").
- Allow location access. Wait for the "Position obtained" message in the "GPS position" block.
- Under "Job site", the sites near you are displayed. If you are within 100 meters of one of them, it is selected automatically. Otherwise, tap the right site in the list.
- If you wish, tap "Add a photo (optional)".
- Tap "Clock in now". The "Clock-in in progress" screen shows your arrival time and the job site.
If no job site appears ("No job site detected nearby"), check that the job site's address has been entered, or use the QR code.

Clocking in with the job site QR code
- On the "Clock in" screen, tap "Scan QR" ("Alternative to GPS").
- Place the job site's QR code within the frame. The matching job site is selected.
- Tap "Clock in now".
The QR code is created by the business owner on the web, in the job site record, in the "Clock-in QR code" card: "Generate the QR code", then "Print" to display it on site. It is valid for 90 days, and the card shows its expiration date.
The GPS position is still requested when you clock in, even with the QR code. If the "Position required" message appears, wait a few seconds for the phone to find your position.

Clocking out
- Reopen "GPS clock-in": the screen shows "In progress". Tap "End the day", then "End" to confirm.
- Your departure time is recorded and the clock-in is automatically sent to the business owner for approval.
- Only one clock-in can be active at a time: to switch job sites, first clock out, then clock in at the new job site.
Without network or if you forget
- In a dead zone, your clock-in is kept on the phone and sent automatically when the network returns.
- If an arrival has no departure for more than 14 hours, Constrigo closes the clock-in with an exit set 8 hours after arrival. You receive the "Missed clock-out" notification and the clock-in is marked "Rejected", with a reason, so that you can correct it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I clock in at a job site I am not assigned to?
No. An employee can only clock in at a job site they are assigned to, where they are the site manager, or where they have an assignment. Otherwise, the message "You are not assigned to this job site." is displayed.
I forgot to clock out last night, what should I do?
After 14 hours without a departure, the clock-in is closed automatically with an exit 8 hours after arrival, then marked "Rejected". Correct the hours and submit it again.

90 days. After that, the business owner regenerates it from the job site record and reprints the new poster.
